Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for purchasing Plated Pleasures from Scribble Scrabble Publishing. We value our readers and want to ensure you are satisfied with your literary experience. Please read our policy carefully regarding returns and refunds.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • Time Frame: You must initiate the return within 7 days of receiving your book.

  • Condition: The book must be returned in its original physical condition (unmarked, undamaged, and without bent covers or pages). We cannot accept returns for books that have been read, highlighted in, or damaged by the customer.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or order confirmation email is required to process any return.

2. Digital Products (eBooks)

If you purchased a digital/electronic version of Plated Pleasures (eBook):

  • Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final upon download.

  • Refunds for digital copies will only be considered in the event of a technical error on our part (e.g., corrupted file, wrong format sent). If you experience technical issues, please contact us within 7 days of purchase.

3. Damaged or Defective Books

We take great care in packaging our books. However, if your copy of Plated Pleasures arrives damaged (e.g., torn cover, missing pages, printing errors) or if you received the wrong item:

  • Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  • Include your order number and a photo of the damage/error in your email.

  • We will arrange for a replacement copy to be sent to you at no additional cost. You will not be required to return the damaged copy unless the item is a limited edition print, in which case we will provide a prepaid shipping label.

4. Change of Mind / Buyer’s Remorse

Because books are intellectual property that can be consumed immediately, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind. However, if you have simply changed your mind about the purchase of a physical book:

  • You may return the book at your own expense.

  • Once we receive the book in sellable condition, we will issue a refund for the cost of the book only (shipping fees are non-refundable).

5. How to Initiate a Return

To start the return process, please contact our support team:

  • Subject Line: “Return Request: Plated Pleasures – [Your Order Number]”

In your email, please state your reason for the return and attach any relevant photos or documents. We will respond within 2-3 business days with further instructions and the return shipping address (if applicable).

6. Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company or bank. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@scribblescrabblepublishing.com.

7. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the error is ours (damage/defect/wrong item): Scribble Scrabble Publishing will cover the cost of return shipping via a prepaid label.

  • If the error is yours (change of mind): You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
